ZomBotany 2 is a more difficult game than the first version. In fact, it is one of the more difficult Mini-Games available, but if you follow the correct strategy then you should be able to beat it. The first thing that you will want to do is purchase a rake from Crazy Dave. The rake is good for three games and it will help you buy a little extra time in order to store up some sun. When you start the level you can see exactly where the rake is placed. Do not plant anything in this row until the first zombie has passed. Instead, start planting Sunflowers in other rows. Once you start storing some sun wait for the second zombie to appear and place a Tall Nut to the right but leave one open space before it. After a little more time you will be able to place a Pea Shooter or a Cabbage-Pult in the same row so you can take out the zombie. Continue this process being sure to place a Tall Nut as soon as you can. Once you have established your line of defense you can start focusing on your attacking plants. One thing I found useful was the Spikeweed. I place this in the row that is farthest to the right just past the Tall Nut. This will ensure that zombies sustain damage the entire time that they are trying to take out the Tall Nut. If you can, purchase the Spikerock on your Spikeweeds. They will last longer and do much more damage. At this point you can plant Twin Sunflowers to store even more sun. From there you should start planting your most damaging weapons. Repeaters with Torchwood works well but I particularly like the Melon-Pult with a Winter Melon attached. These are devastating weapons and will freeze then destroy large groups of zombies. It is the initial phases of this game that make it difficult but once you have a proper defense set up you should pass it without a problem.
